I also have 20 years of construction experience. Since 1991, my husband and I along with our two sons have built 7 new custom homes. We have also completed 5 total restoration projects.  One of our favorites was The Historic Colby House at 1219 Columbia Ave. in Hood River for which I wrote the nomination for the National Historic Registry.
